The moment you walk in the front door to Lavender Beach House the stunning Beach and Ocean views will take your breath away. Lavender is perched atop the oceanfront dune just a few steps away from our beautiful pink sand beach! You will find it difficult to take your eyes off the ever changing sea, a view which you can enjoy from every room in the house!
Our modern kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Conveniences include a four burner gas range and griddle(in addition to a gas grill on the porch), under counter beverage fridge, drip coffee maker, french press, rice cooker, blender and all of the conveniences you might need during your stay. Meals can be enjoyed at our beautiful oversized quartz topped island with seating for six. Our covered Beach/Ocean view Lanai also offers seating for six and is a great place to enjoy a meal, sunrise coffee or an afternoon beverage. Lavender Beach House is located and furnished to suit those who enjoy creating meals and moments, stunning views, and direct access to a gorgeous and secluded beach which invites both serenity and activity!
Lavender Beach House offers two bedrooms and a sleeping loft. The Master Bedroom has a king bed, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, and stunning ocean views and direct lanai access. The glorious sunrise can be enjoyed with coffee without ever getting out of bed, but both of our bedrooms now feature back out curtains if sleeping in is more to your liking. Our second bedroom has a queen bed, ocean views, and direct access to another porch which offers sunset and ocean views as well. The sleeping loft has two twin beds and is a perfect hideaway for kids or anyone able to climb a ladder. All bedrooms and the kitchen/ great room enjoy independent AC to ensure all rooms are comfortable.
Lavender Beach house is located just a few minutes from the small town of James Cistern, which features a few restaurants and two small markets. The larger town of Governors Harbor is a fifteen minute drive to the south and offers two large markets, and several restaurants, a bank, gift shops, a dive shop and other conveniences. A full service medical clinic and pharmacy is located ten minutes further down the road in Palmetto Point.
Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbor is a street/ Beach Party that brings locals and visitors together with food, drink and dancing in the street..
Governors Harbor airport is located just a few minutes from Lavender Beach House and offers a few direct flights a week from the US which is extremely convenient. The busier North Eleuthera Airport is located fifty minutes away and offers multiple daily options from the US.

My husband and I just spent a week in Eleuthera at The Lavender House.The house is absolutely gorgeous and is located on a pink sand beach with a vibrant reef right behind the house. We spent 2 amazing days snorkeling in our backyard! In addition, we greatly enjoyed snorkeling Gaulding Cay and Paw Paw beaches. We jumped into Sapphire Hole, and loved spending time in the beautiful waters of The Queens Bath. We fed a multitude of fish at the Ocean Hole, and walked all the way to the tip of Eleuthera at Lighth

WOW! The Lavender Beach House and the magnificent miles of pink sand beaches within a few steps of the back porch were more than we could have ever imagined. My wife and I stayed at the house for two full weeks in December. The entire time we were there, we never saw more than 3 other people on the beach in a single day. The house felt brand new. Very clean, plenty of cookware, glasses, beach towels, 2 beach chairs, and a cooler. Make sure to wake up early to see the beautiful moonrise and sunrise on the Atlantic Ocean from your bed. Our booking process was seamless, and Linda was very attentive to all our needs. This was our first time staying here, and we will definitely be back!

Great kitchen, super nice location right by the sea.
Communication with Linda worked very well, no questions remained unanswered, she was very helpful.
You should definitely rent a jeep or other car with 4WD, as the road to the house and also to most of the beaches of the island are quite impassable and not paved.

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed spending a quiet week at Lavender House. The location was easy to navigate and was convenient to Governors Harbour and James Pointe. The house was fresh and airy with direct views of the Atlantic. During our stay, we experienced refreshing breezes off the ocean strong enough to keep the insects at bay. We enjoyed watching a few storms, ships off in the distance, and a small shark making the rounds in the morning. The only people we met on the beach for the week were all neighboring homeowners. They were very friendly and helpful in offering recommendations on dining options in the area but were respectful of our privacy. The beach was simply amazing with pink sands and beautiful reefs for exploring. As for the home, it was perfect for our needs, newer build, and clean. Water pressure was adequate and having an outdoor shower was a nice discovery as well. The only suggestion we might add would be to place some sort of gate or netting at the opening to the loft. The loft itself was very cute but not a safe option for younger children with the current set-up. Overall, we would recommend this house and would love to return when visiting the area again.

We had a great stay at Lavender house. The home was immaculate and fit the needs of my family of 5 perfectly. The owner and management company went to great lengths to ensure the home had everything that you would need on island. The furnishings and finishings were like new. The view off of the back deck of the Atlantic Ocean was fantastic. There is a path straight down to the beach which was nice and convenient. The outdoor shower was great for rinsing off at the end of a beach day. The home has a full size washer and dryer which was great for our family. It was only 5-10 minutes from some great Caribbean beaches and Governors Harbour, so the location was fantastic. Would highly recommend.
